Using my Business Psychology Experience !!! seems like there is a big fight between SUGAR and FAT in the minds of the people because companies are selling that concept to you. Right now everyone is buying Low Fat product and the companies are selling it at a premium and converting those fats to a separate products and making money out of that also.
For example :
- Milk naturally has fat in it which is good for our body, but they remove that fat and selling it at a premium price. They keep telling that low fat is better and we keep buying low fat milk and that too paying a higher price in terms of value. What is natual is always good for our body, anyting low or anything high, you have to watch out because your body is not ready for it
Solution : Just buy Normal milk and add water to it.. it will become low fat and better for our body
- Take any fruit. Strawberry is sweet-sour fruit but people mostly drink Strawberry juice because it tastes better. Ever thought why it is still tasty??? Simple !!! Because of Sugar. Companies want to reduce the strawberries and add sugar so they selling less strawberry per juice so they have better margin. They try their best reduce the expensive strawberry and put of more of sugar as it is cheaper and sell it at a higher price. You pay higher price and take in more sugar into your body.
Solution : Just eat strawberry as is.
Both ways people are just paying more and companies are making money using less of high costing items and using more of low costing item.
I am only going to talk about Fresh Fruit Juices over here and don't want to get into Caned Juices because thats a bigger illusion created by companies and soft drinks have perfected it. Majority of the fresh fruit juice in the market is tasting good because they are adding sugar to it. People think that the sweetness is from the fruit but it's quite clear that the sweetness is not coming from the fruit. Next time when you go for a fresh juice ask the juicer how many teaspoon sugar do they put or ask them to make a juice with no sugar. Then you will know the truth. The problem is that because people are used to some much sugar they tend to believe that is the true taste of the juice is sweet. But is the juice or the sugar that your are testing ?????
Let me give you another example : One Apple generally has around 4 teaspoons of Sugar. You can only eat a maximum of 2 apples at time because your body will tell stop because of the fibre in it. But to get a glass of apple juice you will need juice 4 apples. Think about 2 apple give you 8 teaspoon of sugar however think about what 4 apple of juice would give your body. Our body is made to eat a maximum of 2 apples but we give it 4 in the form of juice and then best part to make it sweet we add another 2 teaspoon of Sugar. Think About. Is this fair???
God has created fruits to eat it as is and your body will naturally stop when it is excess but then humans invent fruit juicer so the people buy more fruit to get a glass of juice which makes them consume more sugar. God also created coconut water and drink as much as you can. Last week I went for a fresh orange juice and the guy squeezed 4 big oranges to make one glass. I was happy that my body got 4 oranges but do my body need all that. Maximum I can only eat 2 oranges. Don't you think that two extra oranges would just get flushed aways from my body as there is a limit of Vitamin C that our body can take. You body only need two oranges are you give it 4. Is this fair???
See I am not talking Science here… don't you think it is just logic or common sense
Don’t give you body a soft-drink when your body is asking for a banana. Think about your body. Because if you start giving your body what it doesn't want, for sure it is going to give you what you don't want. Start thinking your body as separate from the mind because your body might need something and you mind might be giving something else. Be-careful !!!! You will achieve positive health only when you give your body was it really wants.
